The International Free… Continue

I just found out that the URL:s for your blogs in your memberprofiles don't work as hyperlinks. So a visitor must copy-paste the address to the browser addressbar if he wants to go there immediately and not everybody is prepared to do that. It is a question of hardwired coding in the Ning-system and there is little is to be done about it.
One obvious way to go around the problem would be to post an item to your Comment Wall where there is the link to your blog.
The other and highly rec… Continue

The beginning of the beginning

Atheist Bloggers is a place where you can tell others what you have have been doing lately and promote your blog as much as you like. Only time will tell if this catches on, as this is still the day 1 and nobody even knows this network even exists.

Don't pastors' kids make the best atheists?

From Not My God

Don’t pastors’ kids make the best atheists?
November 19th, 2009

Those of you who read my sample chapter on Janet (which was also published) have read the story of a PK (preacher’s kid) who experienced one of the worst things that could happen to a child. Her father urged her to pray to forgive the man who sexually abused her, something she was not able to do. This was a pivotal moment in her path to atheism.

PK Luke… Continue

Do we need a "Big Book of Humanity"?

What is "Big Book of Humanity"? The basic idea is that it will gather together the best ideas of thinkers, writers, poets, philosophers and scientists of the past to form a comprehensive guidebook on how to be a good human inhabitant of this little blue planet.
The "Big Book of Humanity" will be a result of collaborative effort. It is freely available and accessible to all in the Internet.
BBoH is created with the open Wiki-model, where all willing collaborators can supply content and what most… Continue
