How Much Religion Do I Have to Study?

I have a new post up, crossposted between Clashing Culture and Tangled Up in Blue Guy. It is a challenge to the religious to understand that the theologies and apologies are not convincing to those of us atheists who have had religion but couldn't find "faith."

Four Stone Hearth

I just published a carnival post on Anthropology and Archaeology at Tangled Up in Blue Guy. This is the Four Stone Hearth, and while not explicitly atheist in tone, the implicit nature of anthropological investigation pokes holes in the notion that religion is anything but man-made. Look for a post on pareidolia to see what I mean.
